IOW, at the time I wrote that response, 14.6.0 was the latest update available toĪll users of Office 2011. Long story short, for those on the tail end of the chain, 14.6.1 was not released via AutoUpdate until 16 Feb even though it was published back in Jan. They're now releasing updates on a staged basis.
AutoUpdate is not broken, but Microsoft's thinking, IMO, most definitely is.
